29. Cobb & Co. Museum, Toowoomba
Capturing the era when coaches and horses were the lifeline of rural settlements, Cobb & Co. Museum combines the largest collection of surviving coaches with fascinating interactive displays of the people and history of the Darling Downs.
Through the project, Queensland Museum staff have helped the Toowoomba community preserve the stories of their natural environment, indigenous people and pioneering history before they disappear.

30. Glengallan Homestead, near Warwick
Glengallan is emerging from the ruins of the 1867 homestead for visitors to walk back through time and re-live the story of a once great pastoral station. Some rooms are being left as they are, showing the ravages of time and neglect that is an integral part of Glengallan's history. Without the support of the Queensland Heritage Trails Network to help preserve the building, Queensland would have lost this fabulous testament to our pastoral heritage.

31. Jondaryan Woolshed, Jondaryan
Queensland's largest historic woolshed, the Jondaryan Woolshed has been restored as a living tribute to the Darling Downs' pastoral history. Step back in time and watch sheep being shorn, sheep dogs at work, take a ride in a horse-drawn cart or enjoy a picnic under the shady trees. Through the Network restoring such a significant part of the development of the Darling Downs, visitors can understand what it would have been like to work on a sheep station 100 years ago and the advances made to enhance our wool production processes over the years.
